Option 1
< Hardcover

Library quality hard case bound books are the Cadillac of binding. Today’s technology makes it possible to bind as few as 25 books at a very reasonable cost. Most publishers only offer foil stamping for the book title and authors’  name.  But we provide   you with full color illustrated covers

and spine using original artwork, which makes a far greater impression. And it costs no more than ordinary foil stamping. Please refer to the photographs above to view an example.

Hard Cover Additions
< Head and Tail Bands

Head and tail bands, which are available in a variety of color combinations, provide a nice finishing touch.

End Sheets >
End sheets can be printed or plain.

Option 2
< Perfect Bound : Paperback, Soft Cover Style

Technically, these are referred to as perfect binds. The process is an adhesive binding method of securing loose leaves into a solid text block, generally results in a book that opens easily and lies flat.

We employ a “two-shot method” of applying adhesive binding where the machine applies a polyvinyl (cold) adhesive as a primer followed by a hot-melt adhesive. This results in a stronger hinge and good cover adhesion. The wrap around cover is printed in full color using original artwork. Perfect binding is both attractive and economical.

Perfect Bound Addition
Our 10 pt. cast coated cover weight paper used for your cover is a very nice coated glossy, cover stock but you can also add lamination to the cover with 1.7 super stick which gives a nice shiny finish.

Option 3
Mechanical Binds
The self publishing author should not overlook the value of these types of binds. They are very economical and durable.

Coil Binding >

Spiral, Wir-o and GBC are the three most common coiled bindings. They are especially attractive in a children’s book with thicker pages so little hands can easily turn the pages.

< Thermal Tape Binding
Thermal Tape binding comes in a variety of colors and gives a nice finished look without the cost of perfect binding.

Saddle Stitch Binding
Saddle Stitch binding is more commonly referred to as a booklet.  The pages are scored, folded bound with two staples and trimmed three sides.  This is a nice, economical alternative to perfect binding when you have smaller books of 20 pages or less.  Using a coated, heavy paper for the cover gives a professional look.
